Old fangirl, American by birth. Used to get told I looked a lot like Alexis Smith (oh, those were the days!). Known as elainasaunt on LJ, but niece Elaina is now old enough that I've decided I'd better give her name back. Freelance editor, teacher, occasional tour guide - in Paris since 1980. Great view of Sacré Coeur out my livingroom and bedroom windows. May never get used to DW standing for Dreamwidth instead of Doctor Who.
